Analog local temperature sensor — 8.2 mV/°C, SC-70-5
The LMT85DCKR is a Texas Instruments analog local temperature sensor that outputs a voltage linearly proportional to temperature at 8.2 mV/°C, covering a -50°C to +150°C sensing range. Accuracy is ±2.7°C across the full -50°C to 150°C range, tested from 20°C to 150°C — sufficient for general-purpose thermal monitoring and system protection in industrial and consumer boards.
Supply voltage and output characteristics
Output type is analog voltage — the ADC on the host MCU or monitor IC reads the voltage and converts to temperature using the 8.2 mV/°C slope; no digital interface or clock needed.
Package and board integration
Housed in a 5-lead SC-70-5 (SOT-353) package, 2.0 mm × 2.1 mm body, 0.65 mm pitch — a small footprint for space-constrained PCBs, with surface-mount assembly standard for reflow soldering. Available in Tape & Reel (TR) and Cut Tape (CT) for volume production or prototype quantities; the SC-70-5 is a common package compatible with standard pick-and-place equipment.
RoHS3 compliant (2011/65/EU + 2015/863), meeting the latest EU restriction directive for lead and other hazardous substances.
