SOT-23-5 package and board integration
The LMP7731MF/NOPB comes in a 5-lead SOT-23 (SC-74A) package, supplier device package SOT-23-5. The 0.95 mm pitch and 2.9 x 1.6 mm body fit a tight analog channel without forcing a 4-layer board — a 2-layer layout with a solid ground plane under the signal path handles the 22 MHz bandwidth cleanly. Rail-to-rail output swing means the feedback resistors see the full supply rail — no headroom loss at the output stage, which simplifies the ADC driver or comparator interface.
22 MHz GBW and 2.4 V/µs slew rate — what they mean for the signal chain
With a 22 MHz gain-bandwidth product, the LMP7731MF/NOPB closes a gain-of-10 loop with a 2.2 MHz small-signal bandwidth — enough for precision sensor conditioning or active filtering in the low-MHz range. The 2.4 V/µs slew rate sets the large-signal risetime: for a 2 Vpp output step, the rise time is about 0.83 µs, limiting the full-power bandwidth to roughly 380 kHz. The 6 µV typical input offset voltage and 14 nA input bias current keep the DC error low in high-gain stages — a gain of 1000 produces only 6 mV of output offset from the Vos term alone.
Supply range and temperature grade
Operates from 1.8 V to 5.5 V single supply — covers 3.3 V and 5 V logic rails without a secondary regulator. The 2.5 mA quiescent supply current is a reasonable trade-off for the 22 MHz bandwidth; it stays under 3 mA across the -40°C to 125°C temperature range. The output can source or sink 49 mA per channel — enough to drive a 100-ohm load to within 200 mV of the rails, or to charge a 100 pF sampling capacitor in under 10 ns.
Lifecycle and sourcing
