What this oscillator does on the board
The Texas Instruments LMK6CE05000CDLFT is a crystal-type oscillator that generates a clock output from 1 MHz up to 200 MHz. It is a fixed-frequency device, factory-trimmed to the target frequency, so no external load capacitors or feedback resistors are needed — just a clean supply rail and a ground plane.
Supply current and temperature range
The oscillator draws 61 mA typical supply current across its 2.37 V to 3.5 V supply range. That current is largely independent of frequency within the band, so the power budget is predictable.
The small footprint — 2.5 mm × 2 mm — saves board area in dense designs like interface modules or sensor hubs.
