Programmable clock source for high-speed serial links

The TI LMK61E2-SIAR is a programmable clock oscillator covering three output frequencies — 400 MHz, 900 MHz, and 1 GHz — from a single device, supplied at 3.135 V to 3.465 V. This makes it a direct fit for SerDes reference clocks in FPGA, ASIC, or Ethernet PHY designs that require one of these standard rates without external PLL configuration.

The small footprint and 1.27 mm typical seated height simplify layout on dense PCBs — the pad should be connected to a ground plane with thermal vias for heat spreading during continuous 162 mA operation at the highest frequency. Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) packaging, consistent with automated pick-and-place assembly lines.
