156.25 MHz fixed-frequency reference for line-rate clocks
The Texas Instruments LMK61E2-156M25SIAR is a fixed-frequency clock oscillator delivering a 156.25 MHz output from a 3.135V to 3.465V supply rail, drawing 162 mA typical. This frequency is a standard line-rate reference for 10 GbE, SONET OC-192, and FPGA transceiver reference clocks.
Supply rail and thermal budget in the 6-QFM package
The 162 mA supply current at 3.3 V nominal means the oscillator dissipates roughly 0.53 W. In the 6-QFM (7x5) package without a dedicated thermal pad, that heat exits through the module's solder joints and the board copper. The 3.135V to 3.465V supply window is tight enough that a 3.3 V rail with ±5% tolerance covers it; a 2.5 V rail does not.
