It outputs a 156.25 MHz square wave — a standard reference frequency for 10GbE, Fibre Channel, and 100G optical modules — from a 3.135V to 3.465V supply rail. This is not a programmable or VCXO part; the frequency is laser-trimmed at the factory. The 152 mA supply draw is the full-load current into a 50-ohm or similar terminated line, so budget that into the rail and thermal calculation for the 6-QFM (7x5 mm) package.
Temperature grade and field fit
It is at home in outdoor telecom cabinets, base stations, industrial Ethernet switches, and test equipment that sits on a factory floor. Not qualified to AEC-Q100, so skip it for under-hood or chassis-domain automotive designs unless you run your own qualification.
Lifecycle status is Active.
