2 GHz fanout buffer with flexible input mux
The LMK1D2102RGTT is a 1:2 clock buffer from Texas Instruments that accepts CML, HCSL, LVCMOS, LVDS, or LVPECL inputs and delivers a differential LVDS clock output at frequencies up to 2 GHz. The 2 GHz ceiling means this buffer can distribute high-speed reference clocks for SERDES, FPGA transceivers, or data-converter sampling clocks without adding jitter from a separate level translator.
Supply rails and temperature grade
The -40°C to +105°C operating range covers industrial equipment and base-station environments where the ambient temperature inside the enclosure can climb well above 85°C.
The 1:2 fanout with differential input and output means the part can replace a discrete resistor-splitter network when driving two downstream loads from one source, preserving signal integrity at multi-gigahertz frequencies.
Lifecycle and compliance
RoHS compliance is standard for TI's VQFN packages in this family.
