PLL clock conditioner for jitter-sensitive links
The LMK02002ISQX/NOPB is a Texas Instruments Clock Conditioner with an integrated PLL, designed to clean jitter on clock signals feeding high-speed serial interfaces. The 800 MHz maximum output frequency covers 10G Ethernet, CPRI, and JESD204B reference clocks, where phase noise at the ADC/DAC sampling edge directly sets the SNR floor. It accepts LVCMOS, LVDS, or LVPECL inputs and outputs LVPECL, with differential signaling on both sides. The 2:4 input-to-output ratio lets a single clean reference fan out to four destinations — useful for clocking multiple converters or FPGAs from one conditioner.
Supply and thermal design constraints
Industrial temperature range (-40 °C to 85 °C) suits base-station and outdoor radio head deployment where the enclosure sees solar loading and no active cooling.
The base product number LMK02002 covers multiple package and tape options; this reel variant (Tape & Reel) is the standard pick-and-place format for volume assembly. Sourced through independent distribution channels; availability and current pricing confirmed against the BOM quantity at RFQ.
