What this 1.6 GHz fanout buffer does for your clock tree
The LMK01010ISQ/NOPB is a 1.6 GHz fanout buffer with a 1:8 input-to-output ratio, distributing a single clock input to eight LVDS outputs. It integrates a divider, so you can generate sub-rate clocks from a higher-frequency reference without an extra chip. The differential input and output path (Yes/Yes) keeps noise rejection high, critical when routing clocks across a board with mixed-signal content.
The supply range is tight: 3.15V to 3.45V. That means the 3.3V rail needs to be within ±4.5% — a standard LDO or switcher with 1% tolerance will hold it, but a noisy rail or one that droops under load risks jitter or output failure.
