The LMH6714MF/NOPB is a single-channel current-feedback amplifier from TI's VIP10™ series, packaged in a SOT-23-5 (SC-74A). The current-feedback topology decouples gain from bandwidth, so you don't trade loop stability for closed-loop gain — a practical advantage over voltage-feedback parts when driving 50-ohm terminated lines or fast-settling sample-and-hold inputs.
70 mA output — driving cables and loads without a buffer
Each channel delivers 70 mA of output current, enough to drive a 50-ohm load to ±3.5 V swing directly. That saves a separate line-driver stage in composite-video or test-equipment outputs. The supply current is a modest 5.6 mA, so the thermal budget in the SOT-23-5 package stays manageable even at full swing into a back-terminated cable.
Supply rails and temperature range
Runs from a single 8 V to 12.5 V supply, or split ±4 V to ±6.25 V. That covers standard ±5 V analog rails and single 12 V industrial supplies. Surface-mount only — the SOT-23-5 footprint is common and easy to route, but thermal resistance is higher than a larger SOIC, so check junction temperature at maximum ambient and load.
