Dual high-speed op-amp for bandwidth-limited signal chains
Each channel draws 2.7 mA quiescent current, keeping the total power budget under 8 mW per amplifier at 3 V.
At 135 V/µs, this part slews a 5 Vpp output in about 37 ns, cleanly passing composite video (NTSC/PAL) and high-speed pulse trains without slew-induced distortion. For a 10-bit ADC sampling at 20 MSPS, the full-power bandwidth clears the third Nyquist zone — something a general-purpose 5 V/µs op-amp cannot touch. The trade-off: 1.6 µA input bias current and 1 mV input offset voltage are higher than CMOS-input precision amps, so DC-coupled high-gain stages need offset trimming or accept the error.
Package and footprint notes
Supplied in an 8-VSSOP (3.00 mm width MSOP) — a compact footprint for dense mixed-signal boards. The surface-mount package is MSL 1 out of the bag per the LMH® series typical rating; no bake needed before reflow if the moisture barrier pouch is intact. The bulk shipping medium means parts come loose in a bag, not on tape — plan for manual pick-and-place or tube feeding if your line is set up for reels.
