Single driver, 1 Mbps, 3.3V rail
The LMH6555SQ/NOPB is a single-channel line driver from Texas Instruments, built to drive one differential or single-ended line at data rates up to 1 Mbps. Any supply droop below 3V or overshoot above 3.6V pulls the driver out of its specified operating region.
1/0 driver configuration — no receiver on board
With one driver and zero receivers, this IC is a unidirectional line driver — it sends a signal but does not listen. That makes it a fit for simplex links like sensor-to-controller or clock distribution, not for bidirectional buses. The 1 Mbps data rate ceiling means the output edge rates are moderate; the buyer should verify that the downstream receiver's input threshold and propagation delay still close the timing budget at the target cable length.
Active production — no obsolescence concern
It is ROHS3 compliant, so it meets the latest EU restriction directive without an exemption expiry to track.
16-WQFN package — board-level notes
The part is supplied in a 16-WFQFN with exposed pad, supplier device package 16-WQFN (4x4 mm). The reflow profile should follow the JEDEC standard for QFN packages; the exposed pad needs a solder-paste aperture large enough to avoid voids but not so large that it bridges to adjacent pins.
