Serial-link deserializer for 2.97Gbps video or data streams
The LMH0051SQ/NOPB is a deserializer that takes two LVCMOS serial inputs and recovers five parallel LVDS output channels at a serial data rate up to 2.97Gbps. This part sits in the signal chain after a serializer or a high-speed serial link — it reconstructs the parallel bus on the receiving end for video interfaces, camera links, or backplane data distribution.
Supply rails and signal interface flexibility
The LVCMOS inputs accept standard 1.8V or 3.3V logic levels from the serial source; the LVDS outputs drive a 100-ohm differential pair at the receiving FPGA or ASIC, keeping the parallel bus noise-immune over short board traces. Five LVDS outputs mean the deserialized bus is wide enough for a 4-bit data channel plus a clock or control signal — typical for a 4-lane LVDS video link with an embedded clock.
Package, footprint, and storage considerations
Supplied in Bulk packaging — not tape-and-reel — so it arrives in tubes or trays. For a pick-and-place line, plan to transfer to a feeder-compatible carrier or hand-place for prototype runs. RoHS3 compliant and free of the six restricted substances plus four phthalates — no exemption paperwork needed for EU or California market shipments.
