The LM5150QURUMRQ1 is a non-synchronous boost controller also AEC-Q100 qualified, but its 87% duty-cycle ceiling and lack of synchronous rectification mean it trades efficiency for a 150°C junction rating. The LM51231QRGRRQ1 wins where thermal budget is tight and the ambient stays within 125°C; the LM5150 extends the temperature headroom for exhaust-adjacent or turbocharger-adjacent placements.
