Dual low-side driver with 3A/5A peak drive
The Texas Instruments LM5111-2MY/NOPB is a dual-channel low-side gate driver designed for N-channel MOSFETs. Each independent channel delivers 3 A peak source and 5 A peak sink current, with typical rise and fall times of 14 ns and 12 ns respectively — fast enough to drive the gate capacitance of medium-power MOSFETs in switching converters without excessive cross-conduction.
Supply range and logic compatibility
Operating from a 3.5 V to 14 V supply, the driver works with standard 5 V and 12 V bias rails common in industrial and telecom power stages. The inverting input type (per the part number suffix) means the output is the logical complement of the input pin — useful when the controller's PWM polarity needs inversion or when driving a high-side bootstrap circuit from a low-side signal.
The device is ROHS3 compliant, meeting current EU and global environmental restrictions.
