Half-bridge driver for N-channel MOSFETs — 1.4 A peak gate drive
Texas Instruments LM5107MAX/NOPB is a half-bridge gate driver designed to drive two N-channel MOSFETs in an independent, non-inverting configuration. The 1.3 A source and 1.4 A sink peak output current charges and discharges the gate capacitance quickly, so the switching losses stay low even at higher frequencies — the 15 ns typical rise and fall times support switching up to the 1 MHz range in a typical motor-drive or DC-DC converter stage. The bootstrap high-side supply handles up to 118 V, which covers 48 V, 72 V, and 80 V bus architectures common in industrial and telecom power supplies. The 8V–14V supply range aligns with standard bias rails from a 12 V auxiliary supply or a regulated 10 V rail.
Package, temperature grade, and compliance
The -40°C to 125°C junction temperature range qualifies it for industrial enclosures, motor drives, and outdoor telecom equipment where ambient heat can exceed 85°C. Texas Instruments lists the product status as Active, and the part is ROHS3 compliant — no RoHS exemption issues to track.
