Full-bridge PWM controller for isolated high-voltage DC-DC
The Texas Instruments LM5046MH/NOPB is a full-bridge PWM controller designed for isolated offline and DC-DC power converters. It operates from a 14V to 100V Vcc/Vdd supply and switches at up to 2MHz, enabling compact magnetics and high power density. The controller integrates frequency control, soft start, and synchronization, along with fault protection including current limiting, over-temperature, and over-voltage.
The 14V to 100V supply range covers standard 24V, 48V, and 72V industrial buses. The 2MHz switching ceiling lets you shrink the transformer and output filter — useful when board area is tight or you need fast transient response. No internal switches means you select external MOSFETs sized for your load current and voltage stress.
