The Texas Instruments LM4906MM/NOPB is a Boomer® series Class AB audio amplifier in an 8-VSSOP package, delivering 1 W into an 8 Ω load from a single supply rail between 2.6 V and 5.5 V. Output is single-channel mono, which keeps the BOM lean for voice prompts, beepers, or single-speaker monitor circuits. The depop feature suppresses the turn-on thump that otherwise needs an external mute relay or soft-start capacitor — one less component to qualify.
