Package and rework reality
Housed in an 8-bump DSBGA (1.43 × 1.41 mm), the part is essentially the size of the die itself — the board footprint is tiny, but the 0.5 mm pitch bumps mean the pad layout and solder-paste stencil aperture need to match the TI land pattern exactly. Reworking this by hand is possible with hot air if you pre-bake the board (MSL level not stated, but DSBGA parts are typically MSL 1 or 2 — check the reel label). The orientation mark is a small dot on the top; without it you cannot tell pin 1 from pin 8 after the part is placed.
