Operating from 2V to 5.5V, this part runs directly off a single Li-ion cell or a 3.3V/5V regulated rail — no separate audio supply needed. Built-in shutdown pin lets the microcontroller cut the amplifier bias when the audio path is idle, saving battery draw; thermal protection folds back output current if the die temperature climbs past the threshold.

8-SOIC footprint and board fit
