105 mW per channel into 16 Ω — driving headphones from a 2 V rail
The Texas Instruments LM4809LQX/NOPB is a Boomer® Class AB audio amplifier designed for stereo headphone output. The Class AB topology gives linearity with reasonable quiescent current — no switching noise, but you trade some efficiency versus a Class D part at higher output levels. The 8-WQFN Exposed Pad package (2x2 mm) keeps the footprint small, and the exposed pad helps pull heat out when driving low-impedance loads continuously.
Supply voltage and temperature range — where this part lives
No AEC-Q qualification is listed, so it is not graded for under-hood or safety-critical automotive paths, but the temperature range itself is fine for many non-automotive harsh environments.
Package and mounting — 8-WQFN with exposed pad
The 8-WQFN Exposed Pad package (2x2 mm body) is a surface-mount part. The supplier device package is 8-WQFN (2x2).
