Noise floor and output drive
The LM4140BCM-1.0/NOPB: For a 24-bit sigma-delta converter, this reference noise still sits below the converter's own input-referred noise in most gain settings. The part sources up to 8 mA while drawing only 375 µA quiescent supply current. That 21:1 output-to-supply ratio means it can bias multiple ADC reference inputs or a small resistive DAC ladder without an external buffer.
The supplier device package is 8-SOIC, so no special pad geometry or via-in-pad is required. Shipped in tube packaging, which is typical for prototype and low-volume builds. For reel quantities, confirm the order code suffix — the /NOPB indicates lead-free (ROHS3) finish per TI's standard.
