Noise, drift, and cathode current — what matters for a reference
Output noise is specified at 20µVrms over a 10 Hz to 10 kHz bandwidth, which is low enough for 8- to 10-bit ADC references in moderate-speed data acquisition or comparator threshold setting. The temperature coefficient is 150ppm/°C, a typical value for the E-grade LM4041 family. Minimum cathode current is 65 µA, and the shunt can sink up to 12 mA of output current. The wide operating range lets the same reference serve both low-power battery circuits and higher-current loads like LED drivers or sensor bridges.
