1.225 V fixed shunt reference in SC-70-5
The LM4041EIM7-1.2 from Texas Instruments is a precision shunt voltage reference delivering a fixed 1.225 V output with ±2% initial tolerance.
12 mA output, 65 µA cathode current — load-driving limits
Output current is rated at 12 mA, which sets the ceiling for driving multiple loads or feeding an ADC reference input. The minimum cathode current is 65 µA — below this the reference may drop out of regulation, so the series resistor must be sized to keep at least 65 µA flowing into the cathode at all load conditions. The temperature coefficient is 150 ppm/°C, and wideband noise from 10 Hz to 10 kHz is specified at 20 µVrms. For a 1.225 V reference, this noise floor is low enough for 12-bit ADC applications without additional filtering.
The LM4041EIM7-1.2 is listed as Obsolete. Texas Instruments has discontinued this specific grade/package variant.
