Adjustable shunt reference in a TO-92 — what it fits
It delivers a programmable output from a minimum of 1.233 V up to 10 V, set by two external resistors.
Output range and bias current — the design decisions
The adjustable output from 1.233 V to 10 V covers common reference voltages. Setting the output requires a resistor divider from the output to the ADJ pin; the reference's internal bandgap drives the ADJ pin to 1.233 V.
The TO-92 package is not hermetic; conformal coating is advisable in humid or condensing conditions.
No last-time-buy notice is in effect. For a production BOM, this part carries no imminent obsolescence risk. The through-hole TO-92 package means it is a candidate for legacy board repairs or new designs where surface-mount assembly is not available.
