Precision 1.225 V shunt reference in SOT-23-3
The Texas Instruments LM4041A12IDBZRG4 is a precision shunt voltage reference delivering a fixed 1.225 V output with a ±0.1% tolerance. This is the exact voltage and grade a designer needs when the ADC reference or comparator threshold must hold tight across temperature and load. As a shunt (two-terminal) reference, it behaves like a Zener diode: a series resistor sets the bias current, and the device sinks current to regulate the output. The 12 mA output current capability and 80 µA minimum cathode current define the resistor value and the load range the reference can support.
Noise and temperature drift — the design margin specs
Supplied in the SOT-23-3 package (also listed as TO-236-3 / SC-59), this is a three-pin surface-mount device with a 0.95 mm pin pitch.
