What this Stellaris MCU brings to a networked design
It integrates an Ethernet MAC with an on-chip PHY, a CANbus controller, USB OTG, and a 16-channel 12-bit ADC, so a single chip can serve as the application processor and communications gateway in an industrial controller, a building-automation panel, or a motor-drive node.
Core supply — a detail that matters
The core logic runs from a 1.235 V to 1.365 V supply — a tight window that requires a dedicated low-dropout regulator with ±2% accuracy or better. A generic 1.2 V rail will brown out the core under load; a 1.8 V rail will damage it. Plan for a precision 1.3 V LDO, not a shared 1.2 V or 1.8 V bus.
There is no active factory production and no last-time-buy window still open — the only supply channel is the surplus and broker market, where traceable, date-coded inventory is sourced against an RFQ.
