What this Stellaris MCU brings to a design
The Texas Instruments LM3S9DN5-IBZ80-A1T is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller from the Stellaris 9000 series, clocked at 80 MHz. It packs 512 KB of Flash and 96 KB of RAM, enough to run a full Ethernet stack with TCP/IP offload and a CANopen node simultaneously. The 108-ball BGA (10x10 mm) keeps the footprint compact for space-constrained industrial or building-automation controllers.
