50 MHz ARM Cortex-M3 with 64 KB Flash — what the memory ceiling means for your BOM
The LM3S800 integrates I²C, SPI, SSI, Microwire, and UART/USART serial interfaces — enough to talk to a temperature sensor, a motor encoder, and a host controller on one chip. The PWM and WDT peripherals are there for motor-drive timing and watchdog supervision, though the PWM resolution and timer depth are the usual Cortex-M3 SysTick and general-purpose timers.
