With 64 KB of program Flash and 24 KB of SRAM, this MCU fits firmware images that include a RTOS kernel, a USB stack, and a CANopen or Modbus application layer, but leaves little room for large lookup tables or over-the-air update staging. The 24 KB RAM is shared between stack, heap, and DMA buffers – a design that streams data over USB or CAN will need to budget the buffer pool carefully.
