Any stock you find will carry date codes from the original production run, so lot traceability and physical authentication become the priority. Package and mounting — rework considerations
No special stencil or reflow profile beyond the usual J-STD-020 MSL precautions. If you are pulling parts from surplus tape-and-reel, check the moisture-sensitive-bag seal date — an opened reel past the floor-life window needs a bake before reflow to avoid popcorning.
