The ARM Cortex-M3 core runs at 50 MHz — enough for a control loop with a moderate protocol stack (USB + UART + SPI) without external memory. The 128 KB flash and 32 KB RAM leave room for a real-time OS kernel and application buffers in a sensor hub or motor drive interface. Connectivity includes USB (device/host/OTG), I2C, SPI, SSI, UART/USART, and IrDA — the peripheral set covers industrial fieldbus bridging and human-machine interface communication. Eight 10-bit ADC channels handle analog feedback from current shunts or thermistors. Operating temperature spans -40 to 85°C, so the part fits factory-floor enclosures and outdoor equipment without active cooling.
