Texas Instruments no longer manufactures this Stellaris ARM Cortex-M3 MCU, so new-production orders are not available through the franchised channel.
25 MHz Cortex-M3 — enough for sensor fusion and serial bridges
The memory footprint is tight — enough for a single control loop, a UART/SPI protocol stack, or a simple state machine. The 4 KB SRAM limits buffering, so any application that queues data (e.g., logging sensor reads over I²C) needs careful sizing. The 32 GPIOs in a 48-LQFP package give reasonable pinout for a small board, but the 4x10-bit ADC is basic — don't plan on high-resolution analog acquisition.
