The Texas Instruments LM3S300-IQN25-C2T is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller from the Stellaris® 300 series, running at 25 MHz with 16 KB of Flash and 4 KB of RAM.
A 25 MHz Cortex-M3 core is a modest performer by today's standards — it handles UART polling, basic PID loops, and simple sensor reads without timing gymnastics. You won't run heavy DSP or high-speed data logging on this core, but for a motor interlock controller or a Modbus RTU slave it's adequate. The 4 KB RAM is the tighter constraint: keep your stack and buffers lean, or you'll hit a wall during development.
