80 MHz Cortex-M3 with 384 KB Flash — what the memory map means
Peripheral set — CAN, EBI/EMI, and serial interfaces
The EBI/EMI port lets you attach parallel SRAM, Flash, or an FPGA without bit-banging GPIO, which is useful for data-logging or display-frame buffers. The 16-channel 10-bit ADC covers analog inputs like thermocouple or current-sense signals, and the I²S interface handles digital audio if the application needs it.
Industrial temperature grade — deployment environment
The 1.235 V to 1.365 V core supply is tight — the board's regulator tolerance needs to stay inside that window, especially at the temperature extremes where the LDO reference drifts.
The Stellaris line was acquired and absorbed into the TI MCU portfolio; the closest functional match today would be a Tiva-C series part with similar peripheral mix and pin count, but those are not pin-to-pin compatible — the board layout would need a re-spin.
Package and mounting — 100-LQFP
Supplied in a 100-LQFP (14x14 mm) surface-mount package.
