50 MHz ARM Cortex-M3 with 128 KB flash and CAN
On the connectivity side it carries CANbus, I²C, SPI, SSI, UART/USART, and IrDA — the CAN interface makes it a natural fit for industrial automation or automotive gateway nodes where a single MCU handles both fieldbus and local sensor polling. The 4-channel 10-bit ADC and the PWM timer block suit it for motor-control feedback loops or closed-loop actuator drive.
Industrial temp range and supply rail
Supply voltage is 2.25 V to 2.75 V, a narrow 2.5 V nominal rail. The board designer should budget a dedicated 2.5 V regulator rather than tapping a 3.3 V rail through a series diode — the tolerance is tight enough that a 3.3 V feed would exceed the abs-max. Housed in a 64-pin LQFP with a 10x10 mm body, the 0.5 mm pitch is routable on a two-layer board for simpler designs, though a four-layer stack-up with a dedicated ground plane is recommended for the CAN transceiver return path.
