108-BGA (10x10 mm) — rework and inspection
The LM3S2608-IBZ50-A2T comes in a 108-ball LFBGA, 10x10 mm body. That is a fine-pitch BGA — expect to need X-ray inspection for voiding and alignment after reflow. The 0.8 mm ball pitch is manageable with a standard rework station, but the 10x10 mm footprint means the part sits in the middle of the board, not at the edge, so bottom-side preheat is needed for hand rework.
