50 MHz Cortex-M3 with 64 KB Flash — fit and headroom
The core runs at 50 MHz, a modest speed for an ARM Cortex-M3, but sufficient for control loops, sensor fusion, and communication protocol handling. The 64 KB Flash and 12K x 8 RAM (12 KB) limit firmware complexity — expect to fit a moderate RTOS, a TCP/IP stack, and application code within that footprint. The 67 I/O pins in a 108-BGA package give plenty of GPIO for parallel interfaces and peripheral expansion.
