Peripheral set and memory sizing for control applications
The 64K x 8 SRAM supports a few large buffers for Ethernet or display frame storage, though tight for heavy graphics. The 16-channel 12-bit ADC covers multi-sensor analog front ends without an external mux. Brown-out detect and POR are integrated, reducing external supervisor IC count.
Package and supply rails — layout notes
The 100-LQFP (14x14 mm) is a standard fine-pitch package — 0.5 mm pitch — that routes easily on a 4-layer board with a ground plane. The core supply is a narrow 1.235 V to 1.365 V rail, which means a dedicated low-noise regulator is required; the I/O bank runs separately. An internal oscillator is available, though an external crystal improves accuracy for time-sensitive protocols.
