Texas Instruments has marked the LM3S1937-EQC50-A2T as obsolete. For existing BOM lines, this part is sourced through independent distribution — quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ.
On-chip program memory is 256 KB of Flash, paired with 64 KB of SRAM — enough headroom for a moderate control stack plus a real-time OS footprint. The 100-pin LQFP package (14x14 mm) provides 56 general-purpose I/O lines. A 4-channel 10-bit ADC is integrated.
On-chip peripherals include brown-out detect/reset, POR, PWM, and a watchdog timer. Connectivity interfaces cover I²C, IrDA, Microwire, SPI, SSI, and UART/USART. The internal oscillator reduces external BOM count, though a crystal is still recommended for timing-critical UART baud rates.
