Dual comparator with a wide supply range — the BOM-fit angle
The open-collector output stage is compatible with CMOS, TTL, ECL, and MOS logic families — the pull-up resistor is your choice, which lets you set the output swing to match the downstream logic voltage.
The 700 ns propagation delay (max) sets the bandwidth ceiling. For a 5V supply, that translates to a practical comparison rate around 1.4 MHz — fast enough for overcurrent detection, zero-crossing, and window comparators in motor drives and power supplies, but not for high-speed data recovery or RF envelope detection. Input offset voltage is 5 mV max at 30V, and input bias current is 0.25 µA max at 5V — both tight enough for precision threshold sensing without external trimming in most industrial set-point circuits.
The NOPB suffix confirms lead-free / RoHS-compliant plating — no exemption paperwork needed for EU or RoHS-restricted markets.
