The 2 mV maximum input offset voltage at 5 V sets the threshold accuracy floor for window comparators and zero-crossing detectors. At 5 pA typical input bias current, the input presents a negligible load to high-impedance sources like photodiode amplifiers or pH sensor buffers. With 80 dB typical PSRR and 65 dB CMRR, this comparator rejects supply ripple and common-mode noise well enough for noisy industrial rails or automotive battery lines. The 100 mA typical output current at 5 V can drive a logic input or a small relay directly, though the open-drain stage needs a pull-up resistor.
The base product number is LM393, so any future die revisions will carry the same LM393LVDR order code.
