It accepts a single supply from 2 V to 36 V or a dual supply from ±1 V to ±18 V, covering the common industrial and automotive voltage rails without a secondary regulator. Propagation delay is 1 µs typical — fast enough for overcurrent detection, zero-crossing, and window comparators in motor drives and power supplies, but not for high-speed data paths. The open-collector, CMOS, MOS, and TTL-compatible output lets it drive logic inputs or pull-up to a different voltage rail.

Supply range and quiescent current

Input bias current is 0.025 µA maximum at 5 V, so the comparator does not load high-impedance sensor outputs. Input offset voltage is 2.5 mV maximum at 36 V, adequate for threshold detection where the hysteresis is set externally.
