4.63 V threshold — what it guards and why
The reset output is active-low push-pull, meaning it drives the reset line low during a fault and pulls it high again when the supply recovers — no external pull-up resistor needed, which saves a component and a PCB trace. A 20 ms minimum reset timeout holds the microcontroller or FPGA in reset long enough for the 5 V rail to settle after a brown-out event, preventing spurious start-up behaviour.
10-VSSOP — hand-solderable SMD
The 10-VSSOP package (3.00 mm width, 0.118-inch pitch) is fine-pitch but hand-solderable with a decent iron and a fine tip — no hot-air station or reflow oven strictly required for prototyping.
