Dual op-amp with 400 MHz GBP — what that means on the bench
The Texas Instruments LM359MX/NOPB is a dual general-purpose operational amplifier in a 14-SOIC package. Its headline spec is a 400 MHz gain bandwidth product paired with a 60 V/µs slew rate, making it a fit for high-speed signal conditioning, video buffers, or fast ADC front-ends where a general-purpose part needs to keep up with a few hundred megahertz of small-signal bandwidth. Supply range runs from 5 V to 22 V, and each channel draws 18.5 mA — that supply current is the trade-off for the speed; budget the power rail accordingly. The commercial temperature grade (0°C to 70°C) keeps it in indoor, temperature-controlled equipment — not for an engine bay or outdoor cabinet.
Package and rework reality
14-SOIC (0.154", 3.90 mm width) is a standard footprint. Tape-and-reel is the production delivery; cut tape is available for prototype work.
