The Texas Instruments LM358DGKR is a dual-channel, general-purpose operational amplifier in an 8-VSSOP package.
Supply range 3 V to 30 V — single-rail flexibility
The LM358DGKR operates from a single supply between 3 V and 30 V, or a split supply of ±1.5 V to ±15 V. That covers 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V rails commonly found in industrial control, appliance PCBs, and office equipment. No separate regulator needed when the system already runs on one of those rails — just tie the V+ pin to the rail and V− to ground.
Not qualified for automotive under-hood or outdoor telecom cabinets where −40°C to 125°C is required. If the BOM calls for extended temperature, look at the TLV9362IDDFR (dual, 10.6 MHz, rail-to-rail, −40°C to 125°C) as a functional upgrade.
For new designs, consider the TLV9362IDDFR (dual, 10.6 MHz, rail-to-rail output, −40°C to 125°C) in a similar 8-pin package, or the single-channel TLV9351IDCKR if only one amplifier is needed.
