Parametric profile — speed, drive, and bias
Gain bandwidth product is 700 kHz with a slew rate of 0.3 V/µs — sufficient for audio-band processing and low-frequency control loops, but not for video or high-speed data acquisition. Input bias current is 15 nA typical and input offset voltage is 2 mV typical, both adequate for non-critical DC accuracy. Supply current per amplifier is 500 µA, keeping the total quiescent draw under 1 mA for the dual package.
Package and rework — DIP-8 through-hole
The 8-DIP (0.300-inch, 7.62 mm pitch) through-hole package is a technician-friendly form factor: easy to hand-solder, easy to probe, and forgiving during rework. The wide pin spacing and 0.100-inch row pitch mean it fits standard prototyping boards and sockets.
It is RoHS-compliant and lead-free, meeting the requirements for current-generation manufacturing.
