USB power switch with status flag and fixed current limiting
It delivers up to 500 mA from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V load supply, with a typical on-resistance of 80 mOhm. The switch is controlled by a non-inverting On/Off interface and includes a status flag output for fault reporting. Built-in fault protection covers fixed current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO).

Fixed current limiting protects the upstream supply and connector from a hard short on the USB port.
