The Texas Instruments LM3477MM is a current-mode PWM controller designed for step-down (buck) and buck-boost topologies. It drives an external transistor switch, so the output current capability depends on the pass element you pair it with — the controller itself handles the control loop and gate drive. With a fixed 500 kHz switching frequency, inductor and capacitor values stay small, which helps when board space is tight. Supply voltage spans 2.97 V to 35 V.
