Topology flexibility and dimming control
The LM3423Q1MHX/NOPB: This controller supports SEPIC, buck, and boost topologies — so one BOM position can serve a constant-current LED string whether the input rail is below, above, or overlapping the LED forward voltage. Dimming is handled by both analog and PWM methods — analog dimming adjusts the current sense threshold linearly, while PWM dimming switches the LED string at a duty cycle that preserves colour temperature.
